Ireland v Italy Tickets

Founded in 1883 the RBS Six Nations is an annual tournament that pits the best rugby players from England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France and Italy against each other. Originally contested by the so called Home Nations, France joined the competition in 1910, with Italy joining in 2000. Six Nations tickets will always sell out quickly, especially with such long standing rivalries being played out. If a team wins all their games they are said to have completed a Grand Slam, victory by any Home Nation over the other three Home Nations is known as winning the Triple Crown and whichever team is bottom of the table receives the less than coveted Wooden Spoon.

Tickets are sold above face value due to matches being sold out and the difficult nature in obtaining them. Tickets will be dispatched approximately 10 days prior to the event. Prices are Subject to change

RBS Six Nations Championship

The 2016 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2012 RBS 6 Nations due to the tournament's sponsorship by theRoyal Bank of Scotland, was the 13th series of the Six Nations Championship. The annual northern hemisphere rugby union championship was contested by EnglandFranceIrelandItalyScotland and Wales.

Including the competition's previous incarnations as the Home Nations Championship and Five Nations Championship, it was the 118th tournament of the annual European championship.

For the first time since 2008, there were no Friday night fixtures.

Whilst Italy continued to play their home matches in Rome, they used Stadio Olimpico instead of Stadio Flaminio, which Italy had used for their home Championship fixtures since entering the competition in 2000. The Championship was won by Wales, who achieved their third Grand Slam in eight tournaments
